                   ALERT LEVEL 2

Our COVID-19 Safety Protocols
Keeping our clients and staff safe while we unite against COVID-19. 

We have been operating throughout Alert Level 4 and 3 for most service.
Now that New Zealand has moved to Alert Level 2, we can now offer all services, for all of our clients.

​The below safety protocols will ensure we prevent the transmission of COVID-19 while we continue to build on the hard work we as a nation have  done so far.

Protocols For All Residential & Commercial Work

All of our staff have been advised and trained in the below protocols, we take our responsibility to protect our communities and families seriously. You can count on us to ensure any work you require is completed with risk minimization in mind. ​

Before We Arrive Onsite

  • All staff have been talked through the plan for steps to mitigate risks including those relating to COVID-19.
  • All stock is handled with gloves and masks, plus sanitization procedures.
  • All staff adhering to Social Distancing 2m.
  • All clients will have been provided with our SOP.
  • Client is contacted via phone where possible, technician is not  arriving unannounced.
  • Remote induction completed if required.
  • Technicians travel in separate vehicles.
  • Staff will be utilising the construction industry ‘Personal Health Flowchart’ to ensure staff who may present a risk are prevented from performing duties.

Site
​Entry

  • Social Distancing 2m between clients and public and 1m minimum between staff.
  • Reminder on all Techncians jobs about SOP and protocols.
  • Staff to use gloves at all sites, use masks when in contact with clients face to face.
  • Details for on site register will be given verbally, no documents to be signed or handed over unless absolutely necessary.
  • Clients to vacate premises or area if possible prior to work commencing.
  • Minimum staffing per site/job.

Operating Onsite

  • All work is undertaken in a way to reduce any possible contact between people and promote physical distancing wherever possible.
  • Technicians will be wearing and using all required PPE as per Ministry of Health PPE Guide.
  • Tools and equipment will be wiped/sanitised, sanitise hands, wipe down/sanitize any client equipment or components after use/installation.
  • Client to be contacted by phone about any questions, if face to face is essential, physical distancing to be adhered to.

Leaving
​Site

  • Sign out of site if required, preferably verbally.
  • Dispose of PPE or any rubbish materials and old components in rubbish bags which will be supplied for each vehicle, drop these bags into bin provided main base.
  • Client contacted by phone for post work updates.
  • Contactless payment (on Account, Ruralco, Credit Card via phone, or Internet Banking). NO CASH to be collected.
