Trial Evacuations
If your evacuation scheme requires that you complete a trial evacuation then Masterguard are here to help. We will liaise with your building manager and the NZ Fire Service to arrange an appropriate evacuation time. During the trial evacuation we will activate your fire alarm system and monitor how quickly the occupants vacate and ensure compliance with regulations is met.
Upon completion of the process we will provide a report back to you and the NZ Fire Service.
Even if you don’t have an evacuation scheme, or it doesn’t require regular trial evacuations, it is still good practice to carry out at least two trial evacuations each year. Regular trial evacuations will help you to comply with Health & Safety regulations by ensuring your building occupants are familiar with the evacuation procedure in the event of a genuine fire emergency.
